Spring roll is one of the appetizer that is so easy to do .You don't have to be a good cook to make it.As long as you know how to sautee and fry, you are good to go.
Ingredients:
onion chopped
garlic minced
carrot, julienne cut
green beans julienne cut
sweet potato and/or potato .julienne cut
bean sprout and/or cabbage
chicken , boiled and shredded(optional)
salt and pepper to taste ,don't put too much.just enough for the vegetable to have a little taste
tokwa/tofu diced (optional)
chicken cube(optional)
Directions:
Saute garlic,onion ,add the shredded chicken,tofu,little water ,chicken cube,all the vegetables, .boil until half cook .Put in a strainer to drain.
Prepare the spring roll wrapper .Put a tbsp of vegetable mix on the wrapper.Spread it lengthwise and roll make sure to fold both ends.
Seal with water by dipping your finger in some water and paste it at the end of the wrapper.
Deep fry until golden brown .Place it in a paper towel to remove excess oil.Serve with vinegar or sweet chili sauce.
